Based on the silhouettes of Northern Southern Dynasty hanfu, the Shui Cai 水彩 Watercolor Modernized Ruqun Set is a light and fresh take on traditional garments. 

Features the classic 5th century extra wide sleeves, the Daxiu Ru 大袖襦 (large sleeve top) is typically made with flowing sleeves that drop off at the elbow, creating an ethereal and goddess-like effect.

Pair with the Banbi 半臂 ("half arm") with a contemporary geometric print and ruffled sleeves. Finally, finish with the Zhequn 褶裙 (pleated skirt) in a matching light green hue, belt is a contrasting yellow for a pop of color!

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
