Step into the famous novel "Dream of the Red Chamber" 紅樓夢 with this gorgeous restoration Pifeng 披风 jacket from the Late Ming Dynasty.

The Pifeng 披风 was one of the most popular styles of jackets during the mid and late Ming Dynasty. This Pifeng features a carefully woven pattern of phoenixes, plum blossoms, and butterflies. Symbols of power, resilience, and love.

Characterized by its straight parallel collar called Duijin 对襟 and floor length sleeves, the Pifeng is not only one of the most romantic pieces of hanfu out there, it's also one of the most popular styles for Ming hanfu lovers around the world.

Double lined for comfort and warmth, also features intricate golden Ming style clasp button called 子母扣, or "mother-child button". 

Pairs perfectly with a ChangShan 长衫 (standing collar long shirt) and Mamian Qun 马面裙 (horse faced skirt). Or alternatively, think of it as the ultimate trench coat to spice up any outfit!

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
