Feijixiu 飞机袖 (airplane sleeve tops) is not actually a historically accurate term, but rather a term used by modern hanfu enthusiasts due to the garment's sloping sleeves that look similar to airplane wings. Its historical name is the Duijin Duanshan 对襟短衫 (parallel panel short shirt) and was worn by women of all classes thanks to its simple, lightweight, and versatile design.

Tuck into the skirt to create a crossed collar effect, leave open over your outfit for a breezy cardigan, or layer multiple for a rainbow effect.

Pair with matching or contrasting Moxiong 抹胸, a tank top undergarment. Note this moxiong is single-layered and lighter colors may be slightly transparent.

These light layers are integral to any Song Dynasty outfit and a fantastic addition to have for any hanfu enthusiasts' collection.
