The Fang Jin 方巾 was first worn and named by Yang Weizhen. The Emperor was pleased by its appearance and name, and ordered it to be used by scholars and minor government clerks.

Features a square shape, hence the name Fang Jin 方巾 "square scarf". Was often adorned with fresh flowers. 

Small colored ring is attached to the brim of the hat to easily attach flowers and whatever else you desire! 

Made of 100% natural ramie plant fabric, allowing for maximum breathability and comfort.
